Multimedia’s Joy News TV channel has been subjected to ridicule on social media over its poorly investigative piece on an alleged scandal involving the National Lotteries Authority.
JoyNews earlier announced that it has uncovered the loss of over $10 million in the procurement of Point of Sale (POS) devices for the National Lottery Authority (NLA).
The media house also claimed that it had gathered evidence that the contract for the supply of 30,000 POS devices for the NLA should have cost less than half of the contract sum of $25 million.
However, viewers expressed disappointment in the media house saying the whole documentary was baseless and looked very unprofessional.
Some alleged that the media house has edited the video to suit a particular agenda.
