The opposition National Democratic Congress has renewed hostilities with Peace FM.
The NDC have boycotted Peace FM’s popular morning Kokrokooo, hosted by veteran briadcaster Kwame Sefa Kayi, since the station turned down the NDC’s request to withdraw former NDC Central Region Chairman, Allotey Jacobs from the show.
It doesn’t seem the feud will be over soon as the NDC has opened fire again through its Communications Officer, who penned the first letter damning the show and its celebrated host, Sefa Kayi.
Sammy Gyamfi took to his Facebook account to on Saturday to firther demean the show, describing it as overhyped.
Sammy Gyamfi also took his fight to veteran journalist, Kweku Baako Jnr., describing him as a liar for suggesting the NDC was begging behind the scene to return to Kokrokooo.
“For the records, the NDC has mever, and will never beg to appear on Peace FM’s Kokrokooo,” Sammy Gyamfi bragged.
He added: “the communications Bureau that I lead, has no intentions of ever returning to that show.”
Gyamfi then went on to brand the show as overhyped and attacked Baako as well.
“The NDC brand is far greater than that of overhyped platform. They can tickle themselves and laugh, but our boycott still stands. Ignore the lies. #BaakoLied.”
